Philanthropy Learning Exchange for Donors: Power of Attorney [POA] and How it Affects Charitable Giving

Presenter:

Michael R. May, Esq.,counsel of Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLC. He has practiced as an attorney helping individuals and families in the local area for more than 30 years.

 

Mike is a member and past president of the Tompkins County Bar Association, member of the NYS Bar Association and Estate Planning Council of Tompkins County. As a long-time Ithaca area resident Mike has been active on many community boards, including: Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, TCSD Foundation and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County.

 

This session is specifically designed for the general community and for our donors, donor advisors as well as their professional advisors.

 

Light refreshments will be served.

 

Free and open to the public.
