Diversity Consortium Roundtable

 

The 2017 Diversity Roundtable event is offered by the Diversity Consortium of Tompkins County (DCTC). The event is a bi-annual conference intended to provide a venue for community-wide participation in learning and dialogue. We provide our community with the opportunity to learn tools and strategies to assist us in overcoming the challenges we experience in addressing diversity and inclusion to help us prepare for the next steps in creating a diverse and inclusive community in which to work, live, and learn.

The theme for this year’s Roundtable is, “Equity and Inclusion: From Talk to Action!” This day-long conference includes keynote presentations, morning and afternoon breakout sessions, and lunch. Our keynote presenters this year is Angela C. Winfield, Director of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity, Cornell University Human Resources and our lunch keynote is Karen Baer, Director, Tompkins County Office of Human Rights. The Roundtable will also host Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble (CITE) to provide the theatre-based workshop “Your Story, My Story.”
