Food insecurity is a crucial challenge that we face as a community. King Ferry Food Pantry continues to be a champion in feeding families and providing access to healthy, nutritious food. We are excited to visit King Ferry Food Pantry to learn more about their operations, understand the vision behind it, and meet their team. We’d love to have you engage with us as we dig deeper into the work they do…and bring a friend!
Site visits are an important part of our community engagement strategy and are a chance to connect with the people who are doing great work on the ground. It’s also a chance to see firsthand the staff’s enthusiasm for their mission, their commitment to it, and their hopes for the future. Our goal is to create an experience of co-discovery from engagement and dialogue during the visit. Our goals are to:
· Build trust and strengthen relationships
· Explore shared interest areas, share knowledge and identify possible new ways of working together to serve common goals
· Gain information beyond what is obtained from a written report
